• Campaign Data: Candidate profiles, messaging frameworks, policy positions, and campaign strategy documents you create or upload
• Voter and Supporter Data: Contact information, voter file data, donation history, volunteer records, and engagement data you import or create
• Communications: Messages you send through the platform, support requests, and feedback you provide
• Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details (processed by third-party payment processors)

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Features accessed, actions taken, time spent on pages, and interaction patterns
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and IP address
• Log Data: Access times, pages viewed, error logs, and referring URLs

3.1 Third-Party AI Providers

We use the following AI service providers to power certain features:

• Anthropic (Claude): For content generation and analysis
• OpenAI: For certain language processing features

3.2 Data Processing Commitments

• No Training on Your Data: We use these AI providers via their API services under terms that prohibit using your campaign data to train their models. Your data is processed to generate outputs but is not retained by these providers for model improvement.
• Transient Processing: Data sent to AI providers is processed in real-time and is not stored by these providers beyond the immediate API request.
• Minimized Data Sharing: We send only the information necessary to perform the requested function, not your entire database.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. Ever.

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf:

• Clerk: Authentication and user management
• Neon: Database hosting (US-based infrastructure)
• Vercel: Application hosting
• Upstash: Caching and performance optimization
• Payment Processors: Secure payment processing

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services for us.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We will notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law.

4.3 Business Transfers

• We will delete your campaign data within 90 days of account termination, unless legally required to retain it

You may request access to your personal information and campaign data. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

7.3 Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

7.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of non-essential communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by updating your notification preferences.

7.5 California Residents

As stated above, we do not sell personal information.
